Duet Pilates is a semi-private workout session where one instructor trains two people at the same time. This format sits between a one-on-one private lesson and a large group class.
Partner Workout: Typically booked by two people who know each other, such as friends, couples, or family members.
Personalized Attention: The instructor tailors the exercises to fit the shared goals and physical levels of both participants.
Equipment Access: Often features workouts on our studio apparatus.
Cost Effective: Offers the customized guidance of private training at a lower per-person rate.

Generally, clients are expected to find their own workout partners. However, we do have an active community chat group where you are welcome to post and find a practice buddy!

When it comes to minors using Pilates apparatus (such as the Reformer or Tower), industry standards and professional instructors generally recommend that children be at least 130 cm to 140 cm (approx. 4'3" to 4'7") tall before starting.
Equipment requirements: Apparatus Pilates relies heavily on spring resistance. Once a child reaches over 1.3 meters, they are typically in mid-to-upper elementary school. At this stage, their joint ligament tightness, bone strength, and core control are more mature, allowing them to handle spring resistance safely.
Safe alternatives: If your child is under 1.3 meters tall, Mat Pilates is the best and safest alternative. Mat exercises use body weight combined with props like stability balls, resistance bands, or foam rollers. These are highly effective for correcting slouching and strengthening the core.
Studio policy: Our Parent-Child/Teen Pilates sessions require a parent or legal adult guardian to accompany the minor. Children under 16 years old can share an account with their guardian. Accompanying adults are responsible for supervising the child and helping the instructor maintain classroom order.
